Terms of Use
Last updated:
01Who we are
snooze.domains is operated by Half Moon Labs LLC ("we" or "us"). By using the service you agree to these Terms. You must be at least 13 years old, or 16 in the EU.
02Your account
You sign in with Google. You're responsible for keeping that account secure and for everything done under your snooze.domains account. One account per person. To close your account, email [email protected] and we'll delete it.
If you connect a third-party app — for example an AI assistant through our MCP server — you're authorizing it to read and change your watchlist on your behalf. Disconnect it from that app, or email us, to end its access. We're not responsible for what an app you authorized does with your data.
03The service is free
snooze.domains is free. There are no subscriptions or fees, and each account can watch up to the limit shown in the app. If we ever add optional paid features, we'll update these Terms first, and we won't move existing free functionality behind a paywall.
Free for as long as the service operates — we can't promise forever. If we shut down, we'll give you reasonable notice and an export of your watchlist.
04What we don't promise
Read this part carefully.
- We don't guarantee you'll catch any specific domain. We report on public registry data, which can be incomplete, delayed, stale, or wrong, and some TLDs behave in ways we may not model perfectly.
- We don't run a backorder service. When a domain you're watching becomes available we email you — we don't register it for you. You race to a registrar yourself, and others may get there first, including drop-catching services that are far faster than any human.
- We don't guarantee notification timing. Email is best-effort; spam filters, your provider, and ours can all delay or drop messages.
- Registry data is shown as-is. Registries and registrars change formats, redact fields, and rate-limit us. We show the best of what we get.
snooze.domains is a tool for staying on top of status changes — not a guarantee that you'll get any particular domain.
05Acceptable use
Don't use snooze.domains to:
- Stalk, harass, dox, or threaten any person or organization.
- Cybersquat on trademarks you don't own.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service or our APIs.
- Resell our data, our affiliate links, or our service without permission.
- Violate any applicable law.
06Public lookups and API
Our public lookup pages and API are free to use within reasonable rate limits, which we set and may change at any time without notice. Don't scrape them, and don't use them for bulk monitoring without an account. We may throttle, suspend, or terminate access that we consider abusive.
07Affiliate links
Some links to registrars and to business or trademark tools are affiliate links, and we may earn a commission if you buy through them — at no extra cost to you. That doesn't influence which providers we link to or the order they appear in. Those providers set their own prices and terms; we aren't a party to your transaction with them.
08Ownership
You keep ownership of your watchlist and notes, and grant us a non-exclusive license to store, process, and display that data solely to operate the service for you.
The snooze.domains service, brand, and code are ours. Using the service doesn't give you a license to copy or reuse them.
09Suspension and termination
We can suspend or terminate accounts that break these Terms, without notice where the cause is abuse or fraud.
10Disclaimers, liability, and indemnity
snooze.domains is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement, and we don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to snooze.domains is limited to US$50. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages — including a domain you didn't get, a missed registration, or business losses.
If your use of the service breaks these Terms or the law and causes us a claim, loss, or expense, you'll cover our reasonable costs in dealing with it.
11Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, and disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts of Wyoming. If you're a consumer somewhere with mandatory consumer-protection rights, those rights still apply where the law requires.
12Changes and contact
We may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version, and continued use after a change means you accept it.
